Every day is Monday

Posted by Kathleen Fasanella on Jan 9, 2008 at 6:02 pm / Personal / Trackback

I tell you, it’s been like Monday every day this week! Frantic tail chasing around here with too little to show for it. Literally cat tails too, one is requiring special care with ferrying to and fro the vet’s (she’s fine, just a little pissy). Today tho, I’m pleased, just beside myself. I got a big big box I’d been waiting for that I’ll tell you all about it later. Folks on the forum can probably guess what it is; I made the announcement there weeks ago. I do like teasing people with suspense. I like surprises, do you? It’s one heckuva new toy. I know my new toy won’t impact you much but like everything around here, it’s sure to be educational and the information will be handy at some point in the future. May as well learn at my expense. Feel free to guess what it is:

In keeping with this week’s theme of Monday everyday, this is what passes for a post today -and I’m still not done! Unfortunately, tomorrow is not going to be any better. I’ve been dreading Thursday since Monday. Pre-dreading it. I procrastinate everything but worry. I make sure to get the jump on that.

Hmmm. For some reason, the site I host all of my photos on is down. Oh well, it should be up soon. Yet another thing I have to do today ~sigh~ This week won’t end soon enough for me.

Looks big enough to be your dress form, but it is the best protected dress form I have ever seen. I thought dress forms had to be shipped with as little protection as possible so that they would arrive with a few dents and tears. Or that may be just Wolf forms.

Dress form. yes!Yes!YES! I will live vicariously. Thank you. And, Kathleen, send me an invoice so I can send you money. And to all the readers who have not done so yet, please send a contribution. Kathleen contributes so much and as the ‘editor’ of this professional journal, she should be paid. The journal I love most costs $179.00 a year, for only 4 issues.

Is it the plotter for your cad system?

Does she have a name yet? How exciting!

It’s not a dress form. I bought that last month. Or rather, I ordered it in late september and got it last month. She still has no name. I was thinking of having a naming contest with $1 a vote, proceeds to charity. Eric said he was going to figure out where we could do that on the web.

We can choose apparel related businesses on Kiva.org to donate the proceeds from the contest.

A clone? Wouldn’t that be good!

I’m guessing that as it’s such a long box it’s got to be a pattern plotter.
