For those who don’t yet subscribe to the magazine Apparel, Mike and Amy Cerny of Fit Couture (Mike also blogs here) were recently profiled regarding their purchase of OptiTex software. This was very gratifying for me as well since I’ve been nurturing them practically since their inception in 2003. One can only hope that Apparel will continue to feature small companies. Similarly, it’s nice to hear that some industry suppliers acknowledge your existence since many rarely return phone calls.
The article was well done, I thought. Its also led to a lot of interest from vendor sales reps. Given the difficulty in finding suppliers, we don’t mind the attention at all.
