After a few years working in &quot;mass&quot; production, I stepped back to &quot;small and lean&quot;.. and my profits have soared. (I also own a Toyota knitting loom).. &quot;Zen production&quot; is the most sensible ..working with the purest of interchangeable forms..with no clutter or excess.
Most Americans are so &quot;supersized..gluttoneous..greedy&quot; in their thinking processes that it often spills over into the factories. CNN has recently run a few stories on &quot;the high price of low cost&quot; and is showing how cheaper and quantity driven production is not necessarily the answer to the finanacial stability of this country (or any other).
Gluttony is like a drug. When you have to keep making &quot;more&quot; rather than &quot;better&quot; items,production becomes an addiction rather than a choice.
