Get off your lazy butt

If you could send an email to yourself, to be delivered 3 years -or 30- from now, what would you say to you?

Apparently, “get off your lazy butt” is a popular theme. But seriously, what would you say? I have to think about this.

In the meantime, read more at Wired and visit Futureme to write your own email. Via Geekpress.

My email would simply say “Be Happy”.

I always get caught up in the crap, fretting over the details, agonizing over what might go wrong… and forget that I have so much to be grateful for and many proud accomplishments to my name.

On the subject of sending myself a 3-year-later e-mail, the message would read: Well, Toots, were the last three years productive? What did you accomplish, how many lives did you touch?

The 30-year-later e-mail might say: Did everyone you wanted to have one get a quilt made by you? The list was long, so don’t be so hard on yourself. How’s your stash coming along? Close to winning yet? (LOL)
