Apparently, Gwen broke her finger while sewing samples for her new line. Wow. I thought celebs outsourced everything associated with their product lines. I have to give her a lot of credit; now that’s integrity.
Oy! Fixed it.
How do you keep up with all these popular culture people?

I’m shocked to find that she’s that involved with her line LAMB. I would have thought she had people to do that for her. How does she have the time? She’s got her own solo career, a baby on the way, and she’s in a band.

Gwen has always sewn her own clothing, and I think her grandmother and mother were commercial sewers. Actually- even though I knew that, I didn’t she was that involved in her line either.
I read an article in Vogue a while back where she said her mother was more excited about Gwen being in Vogue than any of the No Doubt stuff.
Gwen is the world’s most loveable celebrity, imo. One of my earliest fashion influences, first CDs, and years later I still love her. She’s my generation’s Madonna.

I’m trying to think what she possibly could have been sewing on, sounds like something with a puller. I remember seeing Gwen with her stylist on television and they were out looking at fabrics together, way back in 96.

Forgot to mention that after sewing on commercial machines since I was 12 and I’ve only injured myself badly once when I was tightening a double sided blade and the wrench slipped and whamed into the bottom part sticking out I sliced open my finger. Eeeek. I still cringe thinking about that and I still have the scar.
