Today we went to the Smithsonian. I was hell bent on finding the tackiest souvenirs possible, preferably made in China, that I could sent to Miracle and Zoe as gifts. The first gift shop had something very tempting, these panda ears:
You do not know how badly I wanted to buy one pair of these for Miracle who has three small children, two of them girls under the age of eight. But I didn’t. I am such a good person. This is another one thing I did not buy. Miracle, you owe me.
