On the way out the door yesterday, I found some litter on the front porch.
Yes, our squatters -the aforementioned barn swallows- are back and judging from the trash they’ve left lying around, have successfully bred. We haven’t seen any little heads sticking up out of the nest so we don’t know how many there are. Here’s a picture of their proud mama.
