Meet up at TexProcess 2014

texprocess2014As we do every two years, visitors and members of the Fashion-Incubator forum are meeting at the TexProcess trade show in Atlanta GA, USA. The trade show takes place at the Georgia World Congress Center, and features the latest and greatest machines, tools and technologies in the apparel industry. It will be held May 13-15, 2014. Previously, the show was free but the brochure says it costs $25 with advance registration and $50 at the door. No matter, it is a small price to pay and well worth the cost of admittance.

If you are interested in meeting with others from Fashion-Incubator who will be attending the show, fill out this form to be notified of activities and plans. If you’re a forum member, you can also post to the forum thread for this event. The latter could be helpful if you want to share a hotel room or arrange transportation.

In the past, we’ve made dinner plans each evening. At dinner, we devise plans for the following day; it is rather informal and consensual. Meaning, we often meet at a given time for a specific purpose, say, to tour machine types or CAD systems. Last year, I gave demos of my CAD system but anything is possible based on the suggestions du jour.

Mr Fashion-Incubator and I will arrive on Monday, the day before the show opens (again, fill out the sign up form to be notified of where we’ll be meeting on Monday evening). We depart on Thursday afternoon. Hope to see you there!

I’m very interested in attending this show and networking with other manufacturers. I’m a swimwear manufacturer based in NYC. I’m looking forward to seeing new technology, and meeting fellow forum members.

I wish I could go this time as well. I definitely recommend this trade show. I learned a lot about new technology and was able to network for future needs. And it was great fun to meet up with other FI members! YAY!
It would be great if someone could write a general review on the members forum :-)
some topics of interest would be:
    -made in USA
    -new (affordable) sewing machines
    -ecological sourcing
    -sustainable production

This was a blessing to me. Thanks! I am just starting out and in the learning start/start up stage of my business.

I live in New Jersey and would like to know if you can send me information on the next trade show?
