Pattern making webinar tomorrow-OptiTex

OptiTex is sponsoring a CAD pattern making seminar tomorrow (November 23rd) at 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM EST. Unlike previous webinars which featured various capabilities of the CAD software, tomorrow’s event will be a pattern making training session. Says OptiTex:
This Session will be an educational seminar to instruct users on pattern making techniques using the most efficient tools. Topics covered are designing a new style from a block, measuring and specification creation, slashing and spreading, darts, facings, and naming/color conventions in OptiTex.
There is no cost but you must register in advance. I think this seminar will be very helpful whether you have the software or not. Julia Shaw (the trainer) will be illustrating techniques in real time that apply to pattern making generally. I am very much looking forward to it. Julia is a warm and compassionate teacher and an excellent pattern maker in her own right.
If interested, here are other scheduled OptiTex seminars:

Tried to watch; poor quality audio on my end (not my computer) and my questions were, somehow, not posting. I even raised my “hand” a few times, but I think there were technical errors on the other end.
From what I saw, it looked good.

I do apologize for some poor audio quality at the beginning of the session, this was quickly resolved as we dialed into the conf from another phone. we had wonderful audience, way more than expected and the feedback was great. we will continue with this season II series into 2011 (there are 4 more webinars planned) so stay tuned and feel free to ask any post webinar questions.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Attn: Kate R, and others who commented that it’s impossible to get into the CAD loop without already being employed with a CAD user. . .can you and do you put attending webinars such as these onto your CVs to help cover that gap? (Also the third season/series is running right now! Clear your evening calendars, my fellow residents of GMT.)
