Pattern puzzle: Hussein Chalayan

Via Boing Boing, the latest in this occasional series:

How’s that for a pattern puzzle? Now, how would you go about making that?

Video of the line -most sans electronics- is here. There’s some interesting draping going on. The two electronic garments start twelve minutes in. I looked in vain for a way to shut off the soundtrack and settled for turning down the speakers.

Kathleen, wouldn’t you and Eric the Engineer be the perfect team to recreate this? You should show us how it’s done.

Kathleen, you could write the ‘how-to’ for this in manner of your draping post some weeks back.
