I found this company when I was first trying to teach myself a little about pattern making. I have 40 years of experience in sewing and tailoring but have never made a pattern from scratch. I purchased several basic slopers and started experimenting. They saved me a lot of time because I did not have to create these basic pieces. As Kathleen indicates, I did have to adapt them in many areas for our sizing measurements. I also kept having problems with the slope of the shoulder. This was good for my learning experience but now am looking for a real pattern maker who will also make samples.

My cup runith over also with a size 32D, and I have a hollow chest that disguises the true size. It shows up in the fit of a garment though. After many years of not finding a good fitting bra I found Fantasy of England on www.barenecesitties.com I buy one a year of style 4500. This website has some of the largest bras I have ever seen so I recommend it to everyone. After all good fit starts with a good fitting bra.

I was excited to see that Hot Patterns has sizes for D/DD cups but they fall into that same sizing trap. Their smallest "Curvy Girl (aka their D/DD cup)" patterns has a bust measurement of 45". I'm a DDD/F and my full bust measurment is only 40."
