Great review! I've been considering showing my new line at Project one day. I'm just starting up, slowly by surely.

Actually, on the topic of the Feb 08 LV shows, I was representing another line over at MagicKids and it was so unbelievably slow. Good thing they're cutting it down to 3 days next season!

Well, didn't Magic buy Project?
Also, I think its just a show that people who want to go to Vegas and hang out do.
My line only had written orders on just over 120k for Fall and Immediates and that was considered bad. I have more notes from larger stores, but everyone did seem like they were in a rush.

Great information about this show. Are you going to do a summary at the end of all the shows maybe with comparison chart of features or something?

You should have come back on another day. Over the three days of the Project show the number of attendees went down as did the volume of the music. On the first day you could hear the music downstairs at Off Price, through the two foot thick concrete floor. But on the last day you could stand under the DJ and it was comfortable. Ed Hardy's was the same - tons of volume and people in their area on day one, almost empty and quiet on the last day. The number of people dropped by half on the second day, half again on the last day, so if you come to these shows do the Vegas tours on day one and the show visits on day three.
But unfortunately the booths also slow down. There were live models on day one, with painted ladies in Ed Hardy's swimsuit area, less models and no paint on day two and none on day three. Several of the bigger booths packed up partially in the middle of the night and did not have full displays on the last day.
