I clicked a link that doesn’t work
Don’t despair if you get a page that looks like this on my site:
It is very easy to fix it in most cases as shown below.
Just put your cursor up in the address bar and delete the html or even dot html that comes at the tail end of the address. Then hit enter and you’ll end up where you wanted to be.
If this doesn’t work for some reason, there’s another way to find your page that’s better than using the search feature on the front page which returns too many results to be helpful. See the How to find stuff page. If that doesn’t work, I would like to know about it.
If it’s not a page on my site, I would appreciate being told about it. Please send me the page where you found the broken link and the page you were trying to find.
