If you want other members to be able to email you, you need to modify your profile options. Even modifying yours, you may still not be able to email others because some members may not have permitted that option in their profile.
If you want to enable emailing options so others can contact you (there are protections, see note at close) this is how you modify your profile settings to enable it (illustration follows)
1. Select Profile from the top of the page. This loads your Registration Information (profile).
2. Under Preferences the upper most option is Always show my e-mail address. Select the Yes radio button.
3. Hit Submit and you're done.
CAVEAT: Contrary to what the wording leads you to believe, your email address is not visible to anyone. Rather, clicking this radio button will make an email button appear under every post you make so anyone can email you.
Now, even if someone emails you, they cannot see your email address! A window opens up in the forum software, you add a subject line and some text and hit send. The forum emails your message to that person. The person receiving your email will see the email address of the sender and this is fair since you're initiating contact but you will only get their email address if they respond to you.
