Hi-
For the last month or two I've had to log in twice and then when I go to View Posts Since Last Visit, it always says there have been none.
When I go through the index to search by date, I can see that there have been posts. How can I get back a functional View Posts Since Last Visit? |

I have no idea if this will make a difference, but I'll throw it out there anyway. When I want to visit here, I go to this URL:
Code: |
https://fashion-incubator.com/phpbb/search.php?search_id=newposts |
I'm then prompted to log in. After doing so, I see the new posts since my last visit. |

Dorothy,
I started experiencing this problem too. I found that it is browser specific. I have this problem on Chrome, but do not have it on Safari. Hope that that helps!

If you're having to log in twice, I suspect it doesn't see anything new on the second time because they were there on the first time. I hope that made sense.
If I lose my page and have to log in again, the "New posts" has reset to none and so I have to look down the index looking for the current date to see if there's a post.
I used to have problems logging in if I went straight to the log in page. So I go to the forum and click on any non-public forum and it takes me to the login page and I log in. It's indirect, but always works and I always see new posts.

Thanks, all!
(This reply is also a way for me to post something new, so that I can go try out your suggestions). |

I had the same issue and what I noticed is that I had bookmarked the non-secure login page (http:// rather than https://) and because the login happened twice, I was missing the new posts as well.
The forum must have at some point been updated to only support secure login, which is, of course, the way it should be.

This happens with me too, I do think a new bookmark is in order... _________________ Betsy Cook
